Microscope Slides

Microscope slides are thin, flat pieces of glass used to mount a specimen for viewing under a microscope. They are typically 76 x 26mm in dimension and approximately 1mm thick. Slides are often used with cover slips to prevent the microscope lens from contacting the sample and to create an even thickness of sample for viewing.
