Membrane Filters

Membrane filtration allows separation of particles from a liquid and if desired, the concentration of those particles. The particles are separated on the basis of their size and shape with the use of pressure and specially designed membranes with different compositions and pore sizes. Membrane filtration is used for clarification, concentration, separation of components, desalting, and purification.
